'Learning Together for Life'
The Primary Curriculum
At Hartford Manor Primary School & Nursery, we aim to provide all children with a broad and balanced curriculum. Each year group follows a topic based curriculum. You can access our long term plans by clicking on the 'Curriculum Plans' tab.
Each topic provides varied learning opportunities including - art, music, PE, history and geography. Many subjects will be linked to the overall topic for that term or half-term.
By following each year group on Twitter you will see photographs of the many and varied curriculum enrichment opportunities offered at Hartford Manor (e.g. visits to museums, visitors to school, sporting competitions, art workshops, baking, after school clubs, Forest school survival skills, first aid training, enterprise projects - and many more).
From Y3 to Y6, we also offer residential visits. The residential visit programme includes trips within Cheshire, the Lake District and London, with experiences ranging from outdoor adventurous activities to a show in the West End!
