CORONAVIRUS - information regarding School re-opening (updated 15th May 2020)

This page will be updated as regularly as possible with information regarding the spread of coronavirus, and its impact on our school.

Please read the letter below from Mr Kidwell regading our plans for re-opening shcool on, or after, 1st June 2020. Parents and carers of children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 have also been sent a link to a google form asking them to tell us whether they would like a place.

School is providing childcare only from Monday 23 March

From Monday 23rd March, the announcement by the Secretary of State said that we will only be open to children of key workers, children with  an educational health care plan and children supported by a social worker.  Please read the letter from Mr Kidwell below.

Parents are also advised to read the government's guidance on staying at home in the case of suspected coronavirus infection. This is based on the most significant symptoms of:

  • new continuous cough, and/or
  • high temperature (37.8°C)

If children, or anyone in your household develop either of these symptoms, they should be kept at home for a period of 14 days from the onset of the symptoms. See stay at home guidance below:

In light of the latest announcement and guidance about social distancing, all planned events are cancelled. We have also decided that we will use video conferencing for Govrenng Body meetings/communications during closure.
