We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team from 7 January 2019, 8.40am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday; 28.33 hrs a week. The post is initially for the rest of this academic year but may be extended or become permanent.
Grade 5 £18,672 - £24,541 pro rata

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and be passionate about working with children and have high expectations of yourself and our school. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a dedicated, friendly and supportive team, thrive on new challenges and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
You will have great interpersonal skills and really get to know our children and how to engage them in class. You will be able to plan children’s work time carefully, managing their behaviour and stress levels in appropriate ways and use your initiative to develop social interaction with peers, where appropriate. You will also contribute to the wider work of our classes/school and develop positive partnerships with the parents.
A thorough understanding of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality is essential. The post will be subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and a satisfactory probationary period.
The opportunity to work as a midday assistant alongside this role may also be available.
